SEVIS Navigator™

SEVIS Navigator, a web-based software application, downloads current data on biographical, immigration, and income type for F, J. & M status individuals from the SEVIS RTI (Real Time Interactive) Web Processing website for analysis and population of the International Tax Navigator software system.  SEVIS Navigator allows easy access to the information from immigration documents that SEVIS administrators have already validated and verified, eliminating the many hours normally required for manual data entry when new students and exchange visitors arrive. 

Reduces International Tax Navigator data entry
SEVIS Navigator eases the burden of data input for new student and exchange visitors by adding them to Tax Navigator automatically.  Users can choose which records to transfer with an analysis and comparison function, e.g., adding only records that do not currently exist in Tax Navigator or records that became active in SEVIS after a specific date.

Users can easily import SEVIS data into Tax Navigator and then use the program’s web-based feature, FNIS (Foreign National Information System), to email the record information to students and exchange visitors who can complete their profiles with additional information, including immigration history.

Ensures validated data on F, J, and M visa and immigration status
Using the official information from SEVIS standardizes due diligence required by Homeland Security and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).  The information has already been validated and verified for data input into SEVIS by the PDSO (primary designated school official) or RO (responsible officer).
